This is the Law and Rule Required Course, which is required for Oregon REALTORS®. It deals with the more recent laws and rules specific to the state and the federal government (such as statutes included in ORS chapter 696 and administrative rules in OAR chapter 863). Also included is material pertaining to client trust accounts (CTA’s), advertising regulations, common non-compliance issues for agents, and initial agency disclosure regulations.

Featured is a history of fair housing in the U.S., in addition to current fair housing issues (both local and national). Also included are key discrimination practices and how to avoid them, as well as the HUD complaint process.
